Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding as we celebrate this special day with our closest loved ones.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We love your little ones, but we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for making arrangements to join us for this special day!
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment. However, you’re welcome to take photos during the rest of the weekend and during the reception. Please keep in mind that we have a professional photographer capturing all the key moments. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for everyone to take a professional photo with the bride and groom. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
You’re welcome to RSVP online or mail in the RSVP card included with your invitation—whichever is most convenient for you! RSVP online here
What is the weather like in North Carolina?
Our wedding will be in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, where late September typically brings mild, pleasant weather. You can expect daytime temperatures in the mid-60s to low 70s°F, with cooler evenings dipping into the 50s. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap to stay comfortable as the day transitions into night.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors, surrounded by the beautiful mountain scenery, unless rain is in the forecast. The reception dinner will be indoors, followed by dancing under the stars outside. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
What should I wear to the Ceremony?
We kindly request semiformal or cocktail attire for the ceremony. To complement the natural beauty of the setting, we’d love to see guests in earth or forest tones. Think greens, browns, rusts, and other neutral shades. Thank you for adding to the ambiance of our special day!
What’s the schedule for the weekend?
You can find the full itinerary on our Itinerary page for detailed event times and locations. In addition to the main celebrations, we’re thrilled to offer fun activities throughout the weekend, including:
A relaxing tubing trip, scenic hikes, morning yoga sessions
and a floral arrangement workshop are on the docket but not mandatory. Feel free to go out and explore on your own as well.
We can’t wait to spend this special weekend with you.
