Thank you for traveling to celebrate with us. North Carolina is one of our favorite places and we are excited to share it with you. There are hidden gems everywhere you look. We have many activities planned but if you prefer to explore on your own you will find amazing waterfalls and great hikes around Brown Mountain Beach Resort or on AllTrails. If that's not your thing, head into Morganton for great shopping, restaurants, and breweries. If you have the time Ashville is a one hour drive and worth checking out. Anywhere you go in North Carolina you will find beautiful scenery, local foods, and great beer. There is something for everyone in Appalachia and I hope you leave loving it as much as we do.
