These year-round residents of Triple Creek Ranch are reportedly very excited about our wedding ....

This is IMPORTANT NEWS for those of you who are driving south via Farmville or Richmond: Don't listen to GPS directions that route you south on 15 through Clarksville and then south on 49 to Triple Creek Ranch at Virgilina, because there is A BRIDGE OUT on Route 49 just before you get to the farm and GPS is not aware of that. If you go that way, there is a posted detour off of Route 49 that is an extra 10 minutes or so ... southwest into North Carolina and then back north into Virginia.

INSTEAD, take Route 360 west all the way to South Boston ... and then go 9 miles south of South Boston on Route 501 before turning left on Route 96. Then you'll go 9 miles east on Route 96 to Virgilina and straight through the small town's "main intersection" on what becomes Route 49 North. You'll see Triple Creek Ranch on your left ... just a mile outside of Virgilina.

For those traveling from NYC or New England, we recommend an alternative to the I95 corridor, mainly because the traffic between Washington DC and Fredericksburg, VA is frequently at a standstill. We prefer the Shenandoah Valley route, taking I78 west from the New York city area to Harrisburg, PA, then south on I81 (going right past Hannah and Max's home in Harrisonburg) to I64 at Staunton, VA, east on I64 to the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where you'll exit on Route 250 at Rockfish Gap and go a few miles east before traveling south to Triple Creek Ranch via Virginia state routes 151, 6, 29, 501, and 96. GPS should give you that routing by the time you get to Harrisburg, PA.

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) will be the best arrival airport for most people. Travel time from RDU to Triple Creek Ranch is at least 1 hour and 15 minutes. Travel time from RDU to South Boston, Virginia is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
