Free Gondola - Telluride Station
The towns of Telluride and Mountain Village are linked by a spectacular, 12-minute ride on a free gondola—the first and only free public transportation system of its kind in the United States. This popular scenic attraction provides access to hiking and biking trails in the summer and the ski slopes in the winter. Passengers can load the gondola in either Mountain Village or Telluride and ride to the midway point (San Sophia from Station which hiking, biking and ski trails are accessed) and then continue on to the other side.

Bridal Veil Trail
The spectacular Bridal Veil Falls are the tallest free-falling falls in Colorado. At 365 feet in height, these falls entice visitors and adventurers from all over the world to hike, bike, four-wheel drive, ice climb, and explore the surrounding wilderness. A privately owned, historic power plant sits atop the falls.

Easy - Perfect for a stroll, this easy trail can be accessed from a variety of side streets in Telluride. The trail basically follows the San Miguel River for the length of the town
Million Dollar Highway
U.S. Route 550 runs from Bernalillo, New Mexico to Montrose, Colorado in the Western United States. The section from Silverton to Ouray boasts one of the most beautiful, jaw-dropping drives in the entire nation. Known for its mountain passes, high elevation, amazing scenery, steep cliffs, and other various adventures - this drive is not for the fainthearted, but worth every mile! The stretch between Silverton and Ouray offers you the best opportunity to experience the amazing scenic highway and stop in nearby Telluride.
