Hannah and Justin first met in passing in 2016 during Justin's freshman year at Hampden-Sydney with Hannah's brother, Seth. In 2017, the couple hit it off at a Hampden-Sydney Football tailgate and started dating after 6 months. They enjoyed traveling together and exploring various cities that Justin found himself in while pursuing his education. The duo found themselves reveling in Richmond, VA, moseying in Morgantown, WV, lounging in Lexington, VA, and sauntering in Suffolk, VA. Occasionally, they even summered in Surry, VA. In their spare time, they love hiking, kayaking, going to wineries, and generally getting outdoors with their pocket-sized prince, Atlas.

Justin proposed in 2022 during a dream trip to Iceland for Hannah's birthday at Diamond Beach, a beautiful black-sand beach. That night, they saw the Northern Lights for the first time! Diamond Beach gets its name from the ice that washes ashore. Justin told Hannah there was a diamond there for her, too! The pair look to make Charlotte, North Carolina their home.
