There is ample parking at the venue. Golf carts will be available to ferry guests to the venue from the parking lot, from the ceremony location to the reception location, etc.

A charter bus will pick up guests from the Hyatt House Richmond/Short Pump and take them to and from the venue. Guests who are not staying at the hotel may also ride the charter bus to the venue. Departure from the Hyatt House will be approximately 1.5 hrs. prior to the beginning of the ceremony. Return to the Hyatt House will occur just prior to midnight, so app-based car services should be able to facilitate safe transportation around Richmond from there.

There is a hotel block with limited rooms at the Hyatt House Richmond/Short Pump reserved for guests who wish to ride the charter bus back to Richmond at the end of the festivities. The address for Hyatt House Short Pump is 11800 W Broad St #1098, Henrico, VA 23233. There is also no shortage of lodging in Charlottesville. Airbnbs are plentiful in the area as well.

The dress code is semi-formal. We request no denim or smart watches. Dresses should be past the knee (florals and pastels would look amazing in our outdoor venue, but please refrain from wearing white!) Slacks and dress shirts are appropriate.

Invitations will make it clear whether or not a child is invited. There will generally be a limited number of children.

Generally, an invitation will indicate whether a plus one is intended. If the invitation does not indicate that a plus one is given, please presume that the lack thereof was intentional.

Please refrain from using cell phones during the ceremony—regardless of purpose. The bride and groom would appreciate the courtesy of your being present in the moment along with them.

Dietary restrictions and food allergies will be taken into account. Please indicate any dietary restrictions and/or food allergies while RSVP'ing. If restrictions and/or allergies are not indicated while RSVP'ing, please reach out to Justin via text message, so he can coordinate with the catering service.
