While In NYC

Restaurants

The Chelsea Market is among our favorite places in New York, and not just because it's where we met. The Market is an old Nabisco factory converted into a collection of shops and restaurants on the bottom floor. Among our favorite eateries inside the Market:

Los Tacos No. 1 (Hands down the best tacos in NYC)
Chelsea Thai
Cull & Pistol
Dickson's Farmstand
Fat Witch Bakery
Num Pang

And don't miss the Artists and Fleas, a collection of stands selling homemade jewelry, clothing and other goodies. It's located at the back of the Market near 10th Ave.

Cookshop - Innovative American cuisine with outdoor seating located near the Highline at the corner of 10th Ave and 20th Street.

Rosie's - A hot new Mexican spot from the folks behind Cookshop, this spot has our favorite salsa in the city and top-notch margaritas. It's in a fun part of town for a night out.

Katz's Delicatessen - A staple NYC deli, famously featured in When Harry Met Sally.

Artichoke Pizza - Not your standard NYC slice. Has several locations.

Meatball Shop - Also has several locations. Fantastic meatballs, and great ice cream sandwiches, too.

Shake Shack - Has locations throughout the city. Best burger and shakes you can find.

Spotted Pig - Among the best burgers in the city, and a long-time NYC staple.

Things to Do

Chelsea Piers - Batting cages, driving range, sail boat rides and other activities located right on the Hudson River.

High Line - An old, elevated train track that sits above 10th Ave and has been transformed into a blocks-long park. It's a beautiful place for a stroll and watch the sunset over the Hudson.

Museums - The Metropolitan. The American Natural History Museum. Museum of the City of New York.

Go to Brooklyn! - You can take a car service or one of many subway trains across the East River and into Brooklyn. We live in Park Slope (near the A, C, 2, 3, 4, 5, N, Q, R, B and D trains. Our favorite spots include Prospect Park, Royal Palms Shuffleboard and the Brooklyn Bridge Park, but you can reach out to us for other recommendations if you want to head this way!
