As many of you know, we first met in the middle of March 2020. We had both been single for a short amount of time, so we joined dating apps with the goal of meeting people and dating casually. We found each other on Bumble and shared some banter over the chat feature for a few days, and then decided to meet for a casual date - right when covid lockdown was beginning and bars and restaurants were closing.

Luckily, there was a dive bar in Cabbagetown, Atlanta that was still open the night we planned to meet. Over an unimpressive game of darts and a few beers, we spent the night talking and laughing and quickly realized we shared similar interests, desires, values, and inappropriate senses of humor. The next day, Andrew's job became fully remote, while Hannah was to continue to work in the hospital.
