Mason and Hannah met on October 4th of 2021 the same way many of the kids these days do...on Hinge, a dating app. Hannah was on a dating spree that included four dates in one week, and Mason was lucky date number three. They met at Buckhead Bar &amp; Grill in Newport, KY. Hannah first noticed his handsome voice and charming personality, and Mason was attracted to her smile and ability to somehow talk more than him, which is a tough feat.Things moved quickly after that! Mason asked Hannah to be his girlfriend October 29th, and he said he waited as long as he could so he didn't come across eager. Hannah thought it was fast, but she was so happy with Mason and had never found someone she could be so comfortable around.Mason said "I love you" first when ending a phone call on December 8th, which took Hannah by immense surprise. Not because he said it so soon, but because she felt it too! Although, she is a much more reserved person with her emotions and waited two days to say it back.As some of you may know, the start of 2022 had a terrible start. Mason's dad passed suddenly, which was incredibly tragic. It was a lot for Mason to go through, but working through his passing as a couple made the two of them inseparable. Hannah had only met Richard Lanthorn a few times, and Mason got some of his best qualities (including his tiny butt lol).Mason and Hannah spent a lot of time getting to know each other's friends and families. Somewhere along the line, their way of communication changed and they started adding "bd" to the end or middle of words. Anyone who knows Hannah and Mason well know that this language is contagious and ridibulous.Mason proposed to Hannah on August 6th, 2022 at her late grandmother's lake cottage in Warsaw, IN. Hannah thought they were taking pictures on the sea wall during sunset before dinner, but Mason had other plans. She was so surprised when he popped the question - she said she might throw up...in a good way!! It was an incredibly special weekend for the both of them because the cottage holds a special place in Hannah's heart. Her grandma Ellabarger was one of her favorite people, and Hannah wishes she could have met Mason.Mason's story took a turn with a seizure in late November of 2022, and he was soon diagnosed with a brain tumor. Hearing the words come out of the ER doctor's mouth, "You have a large brain tumor, Mason," was earth shattering for Hannah. Mason stayed positive and has handled every day since like a rockstar. He underwent a craniotomy for tumor removal in December, and then started proton therapy radiation in late February 2023. He will be starting chemotherapy around May and will undergo treatment for one year.Despite multiple unexpected life events, Mason and Hannah have continued to live life to the fullest and face each day with positivity and hope for the future. They are so excited to get married and celebrate with friends and family! Mason and Hannah are firm believers in Jesus, and know that He will guide them and take care of them.September 17th, 2023 will be an AWESOME day!! They cannot wait to see you all there and celebrate life, love, and goobiness.

Hi! I’m Hannah’s sister, also known as Big Schiggs, or you can call me Amy. Let’s just say Hannah and I go way back. Throughout life I’ve seen Hannah go from a quiet, cute little girl who could spell encyclopedia backwards (I just had to use autocorrect to spell that), to a strong, independent, boisterous woman who stands up for what and who she believes in while also infusing light and laughter everywhere she goes. Now, I get the honor of standing beside her in this next chapter of her life, marrying her Mabson, and writing a story together that will go down in history as one of perseverance, resilience, joy, and immense, unfailing love. Let’s get these two to the alter!

I’m Chloe! I met Hannah back in 7th grade when she transferred to Madeira, and we have been friends ever since! I currently have two German Shepherds that I adore, and I love working at Cinfed Credit Union! I can’t wait to celebrate the lovely couple!

Hi! I'm Torie! I am Hannah's sister-in-law. We instantly bonded over similar interests and the love of a good vanilla iced coffee. I live in Milford, Michigan with my husband, Joe, and our dog, Ranger.

Hi! I'm Olivia, and I am Hannah's friend from high school, but we actually became close friends after graduation by going on suburban mom walks throughout Madeira. I live in Cincinnati with my husband, Michael, and our golden retriever, Leia.

Hi! I'm Donna. I live in Forth Thomas, KY with my two cats and husband. Hannah and I met the day we both moved in at UK in 2014. Since that day, Hannah has been a big part of my life. We've laughed together and cried together, danced together, lived together (one of the best years of my life!), and she was a bridesmaid in my wedding! Hannah is an amazing friend, and I feel blessed to know her. I cannot wait to stand next to her in just a few short months!

Donna Brown

Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am so excited to be one of Hannah’s bridesmaids. I currently live in Columbus where I work as an occupational therapist at a trauma hospital. However, I grew up in Madeira, but didn’t meet Hannah until my first day of high school. I was unlucky enough to be one of the 5 freshman who had “B lunch,” so I panicked when having to find somewhere to sit that first day. Thankfully, I was friends with a couple of the other senior soccer girls who welcomed me, and that’s where my luck changed, and I happened to sit next to Hannah :) I spent almost every day with Hannah the years following, driving around Cincinnati once Hannah got her license (usually to get soft serve), singing along to “That Should Be Me” by J Biebs until we lost our voices, eating Hannah’s leftovers at Penn Station, and many, many more memories that helped us get through our teenage years. I am so grateful to still have Hannah as a best friend after all of these years, and I am so excited to get to be a part of she and Mason’s big day.

I’m from West Virginia and attended UK where I met Mason. We argued about sports every day and were roommates for a couple of years. After college, I missed beating Mason in pointless debates so much that I moved to Cincinnati to keep the bromance alive.

Hey, I’m Carter! I am Mason's younger brother. It was hard looking up to him so I grew six inches taller than him. I love BMWs and my dog, Klaus. I wear shorts year-round so I’m pretty cool…get it…?

Carter Lanthorn

Mason and I first met in 2016 while we were both attending Northern Kentucky University. We bonded over a joy of playing disc golf and following sports. Throughout the years we’ve stayed close by spending time disc golfing, playing volleyball, and attending Bible study together.

Hi! I'm Ryan. I’m from Georgetown, Kentucky. I met Mason through YoungLife at Ryle high school. Although life took us in different directions after high school, Mason still remains one of my closest friends even though we may currently be hours apart. I now live in Mooresville, North Carolina and work in the racing industry. My favorite memory with Mason is watching Formula One races together any chance we got.

Hi! My name is AJ. I’m originally from Northern Kentucky, but have lived all over! I’ve known Mason since I was in sixth grade. We both went to UK, and we lived together. He's a horrible roommate and an amazing friend.

Hi! My name is Clay. I have lived in Northern Kentucky all of my life. I have known Mason for the majority of my childhood and adulthood. We met each other during the summer of 5th grade and have continued to be friends to this day. We went to Gray Middle School and Ryle High School together. In our relationship we have bonded over the rivalry of UK and UT (University of Tennessee), wrecking havoc to the neighborhood of Steeplechase, and our relationships with the Lord. Mason is one of my best friends and I am pumped for him and Hannah to get married!

I met Mason in college my freshman year at UK. I am from Huntington, West Virginia, but I currently live in Nashville, TN. Mason and I ended up becoming close friends through mutual hang outs and sports at the rec center. I lived with Mason my junior and senior year, and we have been great friends since.
