It all started two days before the pandemic, Hannah was getting her nails done in the Loop, where Adam picked her up in his sick black 2008 Nissan Altima under the L tracks. You would think that as a true crime fanatic, Hannah would have been cautious, but the vroom of the Altima was irresistible...and we also had mutual friends.

Our first date was in Chicago at the Damen Tavern, a low-key cocktail lounge with a vintage Brunswick (antique pool table). The date was a success, and we haven't looked back since. We've fostered multiple pups and adopted one, a queen named Maggie. We left our Chicago life behind and started a new chapter in the Rocky Mountains or Denver (tomato, tomato).

We had a trip planned November 2022 to Los Angeles. The night before our trip, Adam decided to proposed in the back yard with our two dogs, Cowboy and Maggie while the snow was falling. While Hannah was working, Adam said he was going to shovel the snow in the backyard and sidewalks around the house. Instead, he had all the proposal things in the trunk of his 2008 Nissan Altima. Lucious, artificial, silk red rose petals with tea candles, and a light up sign "Marry Me." Adam frantically set up the back yard. The challenging part was setting up the tea lights with a rose petal path from the office to the the back yard without alerting Hannah. Stealth was the name of the game and was a success. Adam called Hannah to come into the back yard and that's where Adam asked Hannah to marry him with the answer of "Yes!" Very Nice! It was a chaotic, beautiful night to our forever love story.
