We went to high school together and met through Hannah's friend from dance. Darius was friends with her older brother, and Hannah and her friends thought they were super cool hanging out with older guys. Although everyone thought something more than friendship was going on, we never dated in high school.

We remained best friends beyond high school and finally came to our senses and started dating during the pandemic. We were long-distance while Hannah did her Masters at Emory: Darius visited Hannah in Atlanta, and she spent holidays at Darius' townhome in Baltimore. Finally, Darius joined Hannah in Nashville.

We now live with our 4-year-old pup, Bo, in a cute blue stone house and have a wonderful, joyful life filled with many new and cherished friendships.
