Our Wedding

From an unpursued teenage crush to a mature love that will last forever. This sums up our story and life journey.We first noticed each other as fresh teenagers in middle school. We had an instant physical attraction to each other, but kept it to ourselves. As we got to know each other within our mutually shared friend circles, the attraction was solidified by our pull to one another's personalities. We considered exploring a romance in high school, but I pushed him away due to my naive hang-ups about pubescent love.We journeyed through life experiencing things that shaped us into the man &amp; woman we are today. Throughout our journeys, we relied on social media &amp; mutual friends to keep tabs on each other. Then, God's grace gave us a chance physically to reconnect in 2024.Harris made it clear that he still had a crush on me &amp; challenged me to deny my crush on him. Welp, I couldn't deny it, and we had our first date on his birthday. The date was simple, but we both ended the night feeling that we'd found our hearts' genuine homes. We've been locked in ever since, with soul certainty that our forever is together.On November 11, 2024, Harris proposed to me, and I didn't hesitate to respond, "YES!" It's true what they say: " When you know, you know." All our prior relationships were preparation for this journey. Although we officially wed on April 4, 2025 at the Courthouse, we still want to celebrate this pivotal shift in our lives with our loved ones. We appreciate you being a part of our lives, and can't wait to celebrate the "official" kick-off of our forever with you!
