What time will the ceremony begin?

The bride will walk at 5:00pm, preceded by the bridal party. Please try to be seated by 4:30pm to avoid interrupting the ceremony.

Can I bring my children or a plus one?

All invited guests will be shown on your RSVP page, including children. We kindly request that all plus ones are at least 13 years old.

Is there a dress code?

We kindly request a semi-formal wardrobe. A suit or a dress shirt with tie is suggested. A floor- or knee-length dress or dressy separates are also welcome. When choosing shoes, consider how much walking you would like to do at the aquarium. There is no requested color theme.

Is there a deadline to RSVP?

Yes. Please RSVP by September 15th to guarantee your seat at the reception. Please note that the aquarium requires a guest list and only names on the list can be admitted to the reception.

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Yes! Please limit photos during the ceremony but take all that you want during the reception. Any photos you take can be shared with the wedding party through the app POV.

Is there a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

The aquarium will start accepting guests at 5:45pm at the Ocean Journey building for cocktail hour. There will be time for you to enjoy the Ocean Journey building before dinner will be served in the River Journey building.

What meal option will be offered?

Puckett's Restaurant will be catering. Offered entrees are BBQ chicken and BBQ pork. Salads and sides will also be available.

Is there a hotel block?

Yes! We have a hotel block at the Read House Hotel and the Holiday Inn Downtown. Visit the Travel page for information on how to book.

Will there be an open bar?

Bar carts, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, will be available at the reception. Each guest will receive a drink ticket that will cover one drink at these carts.

Where should I park at the church?

The church has their own lot with ample free parking. You can park anywhere in the lot, but entrance to the sanctuary will only be through the front of the church, which faces the road.

Where should I park at the aquarium?

There are several paid parking lots very close to the aquarium. Street parking is also available and is usually free after 6pm. Most paid parking lots use the mobile app ParkMobile for payment.
