Our Wedding

Despite&nbsp;both&nbsp;growing&nbsp;up&nbsp;in&nbsp;Hendersonville,&nbsp;we&nbsp;met&nbsp;in&nbsp;2023&nbsp;at&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;job&nbsp;orientation&nbsp;in&nbsp;Nashville.&nbsp;Working&nbsp;the&nbsp;night&nbsp;shift&nbsp;at&nbsp;Aegis&nbsp;gave&nbsp;us&nbsp;time&nbsp;to&nbsp;bond&nbsp;over&nbsp;Icees&nbsp;and&nbsp;Rubik's&nbsp;Cubes.&nbsp;We&nbsp;were&nbsp;some&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;last&nbsp;people&nbsp;to&nbsp;realize&nbsp;our&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;attachment,&nbsp;with&nbsp;our&nbsp;bosses&nbsp;and&nbsp;coworkers&nbsp;rooting&nbsp;for&nbsp;us. We've&nbsp;spent&nbsp;the&nbsp;last&nbsp;few&nbsp;years&nbsp;playing&nbsp;(and&nbsp;winning)&nbsp;escape&nbsp;games,&nbsp;visiting&nbsp;antique&nbsp;shops,&nbsp;and&nbsp;watching&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;worst&nbsp;movies.&nbsp;We've&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;significant&nbsp;impact&nbsp;on&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;as&nbsp;well.&nbsp;Over&nbsp;the&nbsp;course&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;last&nbsp;two&nbsp;years,&nbsp;Harrison's&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;slag&nbsp;glass&nbsp;lamps&nbsp;and&nbsp;Allison's&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;movie&nbsp;soundtracks&nbsp;have&nbsp;increased&nbsp;considerably. After&nbsp;much&nbsp;deliberation,&nbsp;we&nbsp;added&nbsp;a&nbsp;member&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;family&nbsp;on&nbsp;November&nbsp;30th,&nbsp;2024.&nbsp;Named&nbsp;Boz&nbsp;Scaggs,&nbsp;after&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;Harrison's&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;musicians,&nbsp;this&nbsp;cat&nbsp;has&nbsp;already&nbsp;lived&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;his&nbsp;name.&nbsp;Also&nbsp;known&nbsp;as&nbsp;"Bozzy&nbsp;Boy",&nbsp;"Bozcelona"&nbsp;and&nbsp;"Baz",&nbsp;he&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;a&nbsp;source&nbsp;of&nbsp;constant&nbsp;laughter&nbsp;and&nbsp;lessons&nbsp;for&nbsp;us.&nbsp;Boz&nbsp;enjoys&nbsp;eating,&nbsp;chasing&nbsp;springs,&nbsp;and&nbsp;looking&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;ceiling. With&nbsp;Allison&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;school&nbsp;in&nbsp;Chattanooga&nbsp;and&nbsp;Harrison's&nbsp;life-long&nbsp;interest&nbsp;in&nbsp;ichthyology&nbsp;and&nbsp;aquariums,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Tennessee&nbsp;Aquarium&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;the&nbsp;center&nbsp;for&nbsp;many&nbsp;great&nbsp;memories.&nbsp;We&nbsp;are&nbsp;so&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;hosting&nbsp;our&nbsp;reception&nbsp;here&nbsp;and&nbsp;hope&nbsp;you&nbsp;are&nbsp;just&nbsp;as&nbsp;excited! Our&nbsp;first&nbsp;stop&nbsp;as&nbsp;newlyweds?&nbsp;Taco&nbsp;Bell.&nbsp;Then,&nbsp;we&nbsp;are&nbsp;spending&nbsp;our&nbsp;honeymoon&nbsp;taking&nbsp;a&nbsp;river&nbsp;cruise&nbsp;down&nbsp;the&nbsp;Danube&nbsp;river.&nbsp;We&nbsp;will&nbsp;see&nbsp;cities&nbsp;in&nbsp;Hungary,&nbsp;Austria,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Germany. Only a few minutes walk from the Chattanooga Aquarium, limited parking is offered by hotel but ample street parking and parking lots are nearby. Parking rates vary but street parking is often free overnight and on weekends. Use the link attached to access the blocked rate, make sure to update the dates. Steps away from the Tennessee Aquarium and the Children’s Discovery Museum. Walk from the hotel to nearby riverfront restaurants or stay in the hotel to enjoy our Rodizio Brazilian Steakhouse. Attractions like Lookout Mountain, Rock City and the Chattanooga Zoo are just minutes away.
