The Pool Hall was opened by a family friend in 2022. It has become a hit over the course of its first year open with different local bands playing every weekend! If you have time you should definitely check it out!!

Since 1917, U.G. White Mercantile has been an institution in Northern Alabama. The general store was started by a farmer for farmers, and since then, has grown to offer quality goods, fair prices and impeccable service to a growing clientele of cotton mill workers, business folk, homesteaders, candy-lovers, coffee drinkers, honey tasters, back packers, pickle pickers and everyone in between.

Isom's Orchard in Athens, is in its fourth generation of growers. Wes Isom, current owner and farmer is proceeded by his grandfather, E.K, who started growing peaches before World War II, and his father, Joe, who established the fruit stand we know now in 1957. Isom’s is a family business run by Wes, Marlene and children. Isom's will provide you with a wide variety of only the freshest and tastiest produce grown right on their farm! Their season typically runs April (strawberries!) to Thanksgiving (apples!). They operate 7 days a week with an ever changing inventory. P.S. the apple cider slushies are a must have during the fall
