We actually met on tinder, and initially, Hayden said he wasn't looking for anything serious, and while I secretly disagreed, I told him I felt the same. We went on a couple of dates, and it was like we immediately hit it off; it felt like I had known him forever. Slowly but surely, we started seeing each other more and more until we were basically spending every week together. I wasn't sure what the future would hold because, in a couple of months, Hayden would be moving to Gainsville. Still, at that point, I was very much in love with him (& way too chicken to say anything, hehe), but I knew that I didn't want to let him go, so I got really familiar with I-10 and 75 :P. I think if I had to pick my favorite memory from the beginning of our relationship, I think It would be the night he told me he loved me. That day we went to the movies, and I remember freaking out about the songs in the car that had the word love in them; I remember sitting next to him at the movie, thinking about how I wanted to do this for the rest of my life, but I also knew what he wanted so I was just soaking in the moments. Later that night, he says he accidentally let it slip out ( I think he knew I would hear). He says that he wishes it was a more romantic moment, but to me, it was perfect, and I think about it a lot. I used to never understand when movies and even people in my life would express how lucky they felt for their significant other, but then I met Hayden, and it felt like the entire world opened up. I am so so very excited to marry this sweet man. I'm so glad he chose me to be his person because he was always mine c:

Willow and I didn't have a fairytale meeting; we met on a dating app. But that doesn't mean we don't have a fairytale love. Our story began with us going to Korean BBQ, and on our first date we talked about bigfoot (she brought it up), little did I know at the time that this beautiful, funny, and silly girl would go on to become my bride-to-be. Unfortunately, life throws things at you and while it had given me an amazing woman who I couldn't spend enough time with it also presented us with our first major challenge as a couple, I was moving away to finish college. Luckily, we were willing to do whatever it took to make it work, and I couldn't be more blessed. When we first got together I told her and everyone in my life that I wasn't looking for anything serious and I wasn't, but once I got to know what an amazing person had come into my life I knew I couldn't let her go, as she is truly one of the best people I have ever met. I am so glad I get to call her mine, I have no doubt in my mind that she is my person. She challenges me and makes me want to be a better man. People say love isn't supposed to be easy but the love I have for Willow seems to just come naturally which makes it feel easy. To end my what seems to be endless rambling about my fantastic fiancee I'd like to share something I have changed about myself for her, it is a small change but sometimes in love its the smallest changes that matter most. Before we got together I would spit my gum out the window of my car or wherever was appropriate for someone not to step in it, but one day she caught me doing this and she said something along the lines "think about the birds", so now whenever I have gum I am done with I make sure it is responsibly disposed of, which may be a nuisance but I get to think of her so it balances out in end. I truly cannot wait to marry this woman and to confess my feelings of love in front of all our friends and family and for our bright futures together.
