In a Bar Louie, far, far away...... in Beavercreek, Hayley was sitting at the bar with her friend, Jeremy, watching a Chicago Blackhawks game. Jeremy saw an old friend across the bar and texted him to come over and say 'hi'. A minute later a goofy looking blonde guy walked up, said hello to Jeremy, and the (now engaged) couple were introduced. Sparks flew from the moment they met...actually, Hayley was kind of annoyed that David was talking to her during a very intense hockey game. But she tolerated him (just as she does now) and soon his charm won her over, and to this day she still doesn't know who won the game.

Hit the fast forward button, 3 years later Hayley and David have just purchased a house, Hayley is finishing her Master's degree, and David is putting in the overtime to feed his dependent cat children that come with dating Hayley. The couple decides to go to dinner to celebrate the day they met. After a nice dinner Hayley does not feel well but David presents her with an envelope initiating a scavenger hunt, she can practically feel the ring on her finger, so much so that her headache magically disappears!!

At this point she is at the mercy of the envelopes. Hayley is bounced around for countless miles (about 7). She is sent to her parent's, her Maid of Honor's, her Matron of Honor's, her recently purchased home, and is finally sent to the Greene. In the courtyard (just a few blocks from where they met 3 years ago) Hayley finds that same goofy blonde guy, and after all that running around, David is met by that same annoyed girl. David dropped to one knee and managed to get the words out asking Hayley for her hand in marriage.......you already know she said 'YES!'. The now engaged couple walked down to that same bar where they met and Hayley was greeted by her closest friends and family.
