We had our first date at Supperland in Plaza Midwood. Tim saw that it had just opened, and Hayley had been wanting to try it. We went without a reservation and put our name down for a table, then took a little walk around Plaza Midwood before settling into the Bar at Supperland. When Tim opened the menu, he realized that he had just picked one of the most expensive restaurants in Charlotte for a first date.

Luckily, the investment paid off.

We shared a wonderful meal where we talked about guilty pleasure movies, our dogs Murphy and Diego, and how much we liked to share food so we could try everything.

We love trying new restaurants together, and during our relationship, there isnt one meal that weve eaten where we havent shared at least a bite of each others food.

We also really love playing backgammon when we go on trips. We have a little travel backgammon set and we write the locations where weve played on the outside of the box.

For New Years of 2023, we went to Prague and Berlin. Both were fun, but Prague was a really magical city with Christmas markets, a ton of history, and gorgeous buildings that we could look at forever.
