Eltville Castle
The Kurfürstliche Burg Eltville (Electoral Castle), nestled in the Rhine Valley, has a rich history as the former residence of the Electors of Mainz. Its medieval architecture and Gothic details transport visitors to another time. Throughout the year, the castle hosts cultural events such as concerts and medieval reenactments. The views from the castle grounds offer stunning glimpses of the Rhine Valley's vineyards and river.
Hotel Frankenbach
This is the snug, charming local hotel that will be hosting our reception and dinner party. It is about a 5 minute walk from the castle. It comes with an attached bakery and German-French restaurant (that even has a michelin star!)
We recommend staying here as they will have the whole place reserved for wedding guests only from Saturday till Sunday morning, and it will be easy to refresh here as you need since it is also our venue. You will be able to check in anytime from 3pm to 10pm, check out is at 11am. This hotel will take reservations with a minimum of 2 nights, we recommend arriving on Friday evening and staying until Sunday morning.
There are other hotels around the area that are within walking distance that you are free to book as well. There is also a train/bus station <1 minute away if you want to book your stay in a bigger city such as Wiesbaden (~20min) or Frankfurt (~40min). We are told this is a popular vacation area in September so book your hotels early!

Dies ist das gemütliche und charmante örtliche Hotel, das unsere Empfangsfeier und das Abendessen ausrichten wird. Es liegt etwa 5 Gehminuten vom Schloss entfernt. Es verfügt über eine angeschlossene Bäckerei und ein deutsch-französisches Restaurant (das sogar einen Michelin-Stern hat!).
Wir empfehlen, hier zu übernachten, da das gesamte Hotel von Samstag bis Sonntagmorgen vorwiegend für Hochzeitsgäste reserviert sein wird und es einfach sein wird, sich hier auszuruhen, da es auch unsere Veranstaltungsstätte ist. Ihr könnt jederzeit von 15:00 bis 22:00 Uhr einchecken, der Check-out ist um 11:00 Uhr. Dieses Hotel akzeptiert Reservierungen nur ab einer Mindestaufenthaltsdauer von 2 Nächten. Wir empfehlen, am Freitagabend anzureisen und bis Sonntagmorgen zu bleiben.
Es gibt andere Hotels in der Umgebung, die zu Fuß erreichbar sind und die Ihr ebenfalls buchen könnt. Es gibt auch einen Bahnhof/Busbahnhof weniger als 1 Minute entfernt, falls Ihr euren Aufenthalt in einer größeren Stadt wie Wiesbaden (~20 Minuten) oder Frankfurt (~40 Minuten) buchen möchtet. Wir haben gehört, dass Eltville ein beliebtes Urlaubsgebiet im September ist, also bucht Eure Hotels frühzeitig!
Getting to Eltville from Frankfurt Airport
By Train
Eltville can be reached fairly quickly by car from FRA, taking about 25-45mins depending on traffic. We recommend using Google or Apple maps for detailed routing and last-minute updates.
By Car
Eltville can be reached from Frankfurt Airport by train in about 1,5 hours. For this, take the S8 or S9 train from the Airport station to Frankfurt Central Station (Frankfurt Hbf). From there, take the RB10 train towards Eltville. Please check the route on Google Maps for updates and last-minute changes, as well as alternative routes.

Anreise von Wiesbaden oder Mainz/ Getting there from Wiesbaden or Mainz
Some of you may want to book a Hotel in Wiesbaden or Mainz due to greater choice. Wiesbaden is well connected by public transport to Eltville.
Mainz is not very well connected by public transport but easily reachable by car in about 20mins.
From Wiesbaden:
Wiesbaden Central Station is connected to Eltville via RB10 in 30min intervals from 5:30AM to 8:30PM and then hourly until 11:30PM.

Eltville is connected to Wiesbaden likewise via RB10 starting from 5:10AM to 8:10PM, then hourly until 11:10PM.
There is also Bus 171 for this route but it takes a long time and we wouldn't recommend taking it.
