Wedding Party
Jamie Johnson - Best Man
Jamie is the dad of the groom. Not many people can say their best man also taught them how to ride a bike, tie a tie, and face the world with strength and kindness - but the groom can. Jamie has been Tyler's role model, his biggest supporter, and the person he's always looked up to - long before this wedding. Through every stage of life, he's show Tyler what it means to lead with love, live with integrity, and show up when it matters most. Having him stand beside the groom, on this day, isn't just an honor. It's a full circle moment that the groom will never forget. "I'm excited to see Tyler marry the love of his life."
Tamera Dawkins - Maid of Honor
Tamera has been the bride's best friend for over 15 years - through every major life chapter, every laugh-until-you-cry moment, and every heart-to-heart. She knows Heather better than almost anyone, and has seen her through the highest of highs and the hardest lows with unwavering love and support. The bride can't imagine saying 'I do' without Tamera standing right next to her (probably holding tissues and snacks). Having her as the MoH is so much more than a title - it's a celebration of friendship that's grown, evolved, and stayed rock solid over the years. She's not just a friend - she's family."I look forward to being by your side and helping you pick dresses. Also making sure you have the best day ever!!"
Drew Johnson - Groomsman
As the older brother, Drew has had a front row seat to every stage of life. From scraped knees and awkward moments, to the incredible person he has helped Tyler be today - Drew's been the protector, the teaser, the occasional bad influence, and always the biggest supporter. While he's still contractually obligated to make at least one sarcastic comment, deep down he's beyond proud and honored to stand by Tyler's side on such a special day. "I'm looking forward to seeing two of my favorite people take the next step in their relationship and getting to celebrate them as they do."
Cherie Johnson - Bridesmaid
Cherie is not just the groom's sister-in-law...she's become a true friend and someone the bride has grown incredibly close to over the years. Whether it's her kind heart, great sense of humor, or her calm, reassuring energy, Heather always feels lucky when she's around. It means so much to have her standing with the bride on the biggest day - not just because of who she is to the groom, but because of the relationship that Heather and Cherie have built themselves. The bride is so grateful to call her family. "I'm looking forward to watching both of you experience the happiest day! And partying on the dance floor!"
Brantson Jordan - Groomsman
Brantson is the best friend of the groom. Known for his legendary jokes, unmatched dance moves, and being the life of the party. "I'm excited about being able to bounce my a** on the dance floor."
*WARNING - MAY SPONTANEOUSLY START A DANCE-OFF, DELIVER A SPEECH HE WASN'T ASKED TO GIVE, OR RECRUIT GUESTS FOR AN AFTER-PARTY THAT DOESN'T EXIST. ( Proceed with caution - and maybe a beer).
Tiffany Ghent - Bridesmaid
There's something special about having the bride's oldest sister by her side - someone who's been there from the very beginning. Tiffany has always been a steady, supportive presence in Heather's life, offering guidance (sometimes), love (always), and the kind of wisdom that only big sisters seem to have. She's seen the bride grow, stumble, and find her way - and throughout it all, has been a constant cheerleader, and quiet strength in the background. Heather couldn't imagine saying 'I do' - without Tiffany right there, just like she's always been. "Seeing Ty's face when you walk down the aisle. Also, your dress. Those have always been my favorite parts of a wedding."
Tanner Johnson - Groomsman
As the groom's younger brother, Tanner has endured hand-me-downs, questionable advice, and being blamed for things he mostly didn't do. But through it all - he's been the ride-or-die, the chaos contributor, and now the proud sibling (yes, he has feelings apparently). Expect laughs, a little mischief, and maybe a few heartfelt moments - just don't tell him that he got emotional (he has a reputation to uphold). "I'm excited about hitting the nastiest stanky leg or beer. Not sure which."
Hannah Lear - Bridesmaid
Not just Tanner's girlfriend - Hannah is someone the bride is proud to call a true friend. She has such a genuine and warm spirit, and Heather is so thankful for the way she's embraced this big step in the couple's lives. Her kindness, laughter, and unwavering support have made such a difference in the bride's life, and she couldn't be more excited to have Hannah by her side on this special day. "I am looking forward to the bridal suite, alcohol, and seeing you two getting married... also - food."
Ronnie Reed III - Groomsman
From playing video games, to backyard wrestling matches - Ronnie has been in the groom's corner from day one. He's the cousin who shows up, turns up, and somehow has the most ridiculous story to tell whether anyone asked for it or not. He's taking his groomsman duties seriously: looking sharp, hyping up the dance floor and making sure the groom doesn't do anything too dumb. Just don't be surprised - if he ends up in half the wedding photos and remembers none of them."I'm ready for the wedding to see my brother marry his best friend."
Haley Ghent - Bridemaid
Being the younger sister, Haley has been one of the bride's greatest gifts of life. She's one of the ones who's seen every version of Heather - and somehow still likes her. She's quick-witted, fiercely loyal, and always knows how to make the bride laugh - even on the most stressful days (like, planning a wedding!). Having her by the bride's side on this day means more than Heather can put into words - though Haley will probably try to summarize it better than her with one single sarcastic comment. "I'm excited for the dress fashion show that we'll have, or the major fun time that we'll have on the Bachelorette trip."
David McDonald - Officiant
There are few people in life who leave a lasting impact simply by being who they are, and the groom's Uncle David is one of them. He's been a constant presence, a quiet guide, and a steady source of love, laughter, and wisdom throughout the years. Choosing him to officiate our wedding wasn't just an easy decision - it was the most meaningful one. His words carry the depth of someone who truly knows us, who's seen our story unfold, and who will now help us begin the next chapter. It's an honor to have him lead the moment we say 'I do'. "Seeing the two of you celebrate your love for your family and friends. And of course, dancing!"
