All the way back in 2016 Noah was searching for jobs and by pure luck noticed Charlestons restaurant after being told by a neighboring restaurant that they didn’t have paper applications. Luckily, Charlestons got back to Noah that same day and within a few weeks he was taking to-go orders.

Little did Noah know, practically half of Mercy highschool worked as hostesses at Charleston’s, and eventually they convinced Heather to apply. Even though the host stand and the to-go order station are next to each other Heather and Noah didnt formally meet until 2017.

Noah had become close with some of the other hosts that were in the same high school class with Heather which eventually led to both of them being invited to the same 4th of July party. After an initial conversation at the party, they started chatting at work from time to time, but it wasnt until the start of the school year at UNO that they started talking regularly.

Noah noticed Heather studying on campus one day and walked over to finally get her number and invite her to one of UNO’s welcome events with some mutual friends. He was so nervous to ask that the whole walk up to Heather, he kept replaying what he would say in his head.

To Noah’s suprise, Heather agreed to give him her number and go to the event. From that point on they talked everyday and eventually in 2018 Noah asked Heather to be his girlfriend. She said yes and 1,955 days later said yes for a second time… this time to forever.
