Why didn't I get a physical invitation?
We are doing our part to reduce our carbon footprint and harmful emissions. Therefore we are communicating our save the dates, invites, RSVPs, and other information digitally!
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, due to the size and nature of the venue, we cannot accommodate plus ones.
Can I bring my children?
Unfortunately, due to the size and nature of the venue, we kindly ask that you leave the little ones at home. No one under 18 will be permitted into the venue.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! There is ample parking at the venue.
Do I have to stay in the hotel block?
No not at all. If you would prefer to stay elsewhere, please feel free. We have a hotel block for the ease of our international guests, but it is in no way mandatory! There are plenty of other wonderful places to stay on the island. See our travel & accommodation page for useful links!
What are the nearest airports?
The closest major airports are: London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Southampton.
How can I find the best flights?
We suggest using Google Flights to track and find the best flights. This allows you to compare different airlines and airports! Airlines we have used to and from America include: Delta, Icelandic Air, Jet Blue, AirCanada, WestJet, & AirTransat
If you are feeling up for a road trip, flights from Toronto and NYC are considerably cheaper than flying out of Detroit. Why not meet up with other guests and carpool!
Can I get to the Isle of Wight by public transport?
Yes! The island is well connected by public transport. From London Waterloo, the journey is about 4 hours. From London Waterloo take the Southwestern train service to Portsmouth Harbor, from there take the passenger ferry to Ryde Pier. Once at Ryde Pier, take the Island Line to Shanklin station. From there taxis are available from the station taxi rank.

Can I drive to the Isle of Wight?
Yes! However, there are no roads connecting the mainland to the island. You will have to use the car ferry to bring your car to the island. The car ferry can be booked here: https://www.wightlink.co.uk/
Once I am on the island, how can I get around?
There are many ways to get around the Isle of Wight. You can use the train: The Island Line, the island bus system, local taxi, or even rent a car. See our travel & accommodation for some useful links!
