Taylore - Matron of Honor
Taylore is my little sister, and best friend for 33 years. She has been a huge part of my life. She has been there through all of my medical diagnosis, medical appts, hospital stays and even surgeries. She has been my biggest supporter and always encouraging me to stay Strong.
We were typically sisters growing up, fighting over silly stuff and not getting along. Although we "fought" like most siblings do it all changed when I graduated high school. With me attending college and her still playing spots, I got to become her #1 supporter. While I was in finishing college and again while she was in college, we became extremely close and called each other daily to vent to each other and to give each other advice on multiple things.
She has always been there for me through my relationship with Chris, whether it was good or bad she was always there with advice on what to do. When Chris and I went our separate ways in 2020, my sister was there through it all and helped me in so many ways, that she still doesn't know about to this day. My sister also gave me the best gift ever when my niece was born (who my sister says is just like me).
There was no doubt in my mind that she was going to be my Matron of Honor, helping, planning, and standing beside me on my long-awaited wedding day.
Sarah - Bridesmaid
Sarah and I have been best friends since 1st grade. She has been a big part of my life as well, as she has been there through all of my medical stuff and has been a huge supporter. She is like a sister to me as we pretty much became inseparable growing up. There are many stories to be told when we were together, whether it was almost dying in the station wagon, to the root beer at Stewart's, to breaking her windshield on the way home from collage in Oswego and many more. We played sports together all throughout middle and high school and even went on to JCC to play softball together. As we grew older, we still remained very close, and I was Sarah's Maid of Honor in her wedding. Even when she was building a family of her own, I was always there to help her. I can't wait to have her stand next to me on my wedding day.
Nicole - Bridesmaid
Nicole is Chris' older sister. She has a special place in my heart and in the 18 years, we have grown so much closer. I'm beyond grateful for the relationship we have made.
Nicole and Chris have always been incredibly close, especially since Chris was brought home from the hopsital on Nicole's 1st Birthday! He has been a huge part of her life, and I have watched with admiration as he has continued to take her and her kids under his wing.
I am so proud of all the moments we have experienced together, from the big milestones to the every day laughter. It has been such a gift to have her in my life. I am beyond excited to officially become her sister-in-law and can't wait for all the new adventures and memories we will make.
Bayleigh - Bridesmaid
Bayleigh is Chris' niece. She is her uncle's right hand girl when it comes to fixing race cars, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. She started playing soccer and softball this year and we can't wait to watch her learn and grow playing sports. We have had the pleasure of watching Bayliegh grow up and being a part of her life over the past 12 years.
Maribelis - Bridesmaid
I first met Maribelis in 2021 when she came on as the Assistant Director at the daycare on Fort Drum. I remember everyone telling me, 'You’re not going to like her,' but little did they know, we were about to become the best of friends. From the very beginning, I knew we had something special, and I’m so grateful that we hit it off the way we did.
When I got promoted, she stepped into the role of mentor and helped me navigate my new responsibilities, and I’ll never forget how much she supported me. Then, when I moved into the Assistant Director role, we had the privilege of working side by side for about six months. It was such a great experience, and I cherish those moments we had together. Even though we were sent to different buildings, we’ve stayed in touch, talking every single day—whether we’re venting about work or asking each other questions.
I feel incredibly lucky to have met her and to have her as my work bestie. I’m so thankful for the friendship we’ve built, and I can’t wait to have her standing beside me on my special day.
Miranda - Bridesmaid
Miranda is my cousin, who grew up like a little sister to me and my sister, as we were the only (3) girls in the family. Miranda and I have shared a lot of memories together, including going shopping every weekend at the mall when we were little kids, although Miranda didn't really have a choice it was the girl's thing to do.
I had the privilege of standing beside Miranda at her wedding, now Miranda will get to stand beside me on my special day.
Brayton - Best Man
Brayton is my first nephew to be born. Our bond started the day he was born May 9th 2010. I drove him and my sister to the hospital in a snow storm, by the time I parked the car and walked into the hospital room, he was already born! He is like a son to me. We have spent many hours in the woods, with him going hunting with me for the 1st time when he was (3) years old, all I had to do was bring snacks!! We have spent countless days/nights in the garage working on race cars and go-karts. Brayton was right beside me for my 1st and 2nd championship. I will always remember when Brayton got his first win in a legend car on July 2, 2022. I am beyond proud of the young man he is becoming right in front of my eyes.
Mike - Groomsman
I first met Mike when we attended school together at Indian River and grew up in the Mills. I became good friends with Mike when Heather and I started dating, because Mike was dating Sarah (Heather's best friend), we became closer as the years went on, and have gone on many adventures together, whether it be hunting or snowmobiling. I am sure there are many stories that could be told. I was a groomsman in his wedding, and he has been waiting long enough to be able to be a groomsman in my wedding.
Ben - Groomsman
Well, most of us know Ben know him as "The Legend". I have had the privilege to witness the legend do legend things himself. Ben and I have been friends for about 20 years, from pee-wee wrestling to getting into mischief as kids. In 2017 Ben suffered a TBI injury, we were together when the accident happened, and I have never left his or his family side since the day the accident happen. Ben and I are always down for a good time together and always up for a good hunting adventure. Ben is one of the strongest people I have ever meet.
Chris - Groomsman
I have known Chris (Rounds) since we were in diapers, growing up next to each other and becoming great friends. Chris and I have always been close, whether it was causing trouble together or playing sports. We have made a lot of memories together and with that comes a lot of stories. When I started my racing career in 2017, he was right there every step of the way, with long nights in the garage to fixing broken cars. Chris was there as I won (2) championships back-to-back in 2022 and 2023. Chris treats my family like his own and is always willing to help out in any way he can. I am privileged to call him my best friend for 36 years.
Damian - Groomsman
Damian is my soon-to-be brother-in-law by marriage. When we are together, you can always count on everyone laughing. We are both COs, so you can imagine some of the stories and jokes we tell. We are both always up for an adventure or to cause some trouble.
Cody - Groomsman
I have known Cody the least amount of time out of my groomsmen but that doesn't show in our friendship. We went hunting together one time and have been friends ever since. He has truly become another uncle to my nephews and niece.
Kelsey - Flower Girl
Kelsey is very special to me. From the moment I found I was getting a niece,I knew we were going to be the best of friends. When Kelsey started to talk she called me Yaya, we are unsure of where it came from but it has stuck and I will always be called Yaya. I can't wait to watch her grow up and make lots of memories together. When I had to decide on a flower girl I immediately knew Kelsey was going to have that title. I can't wait for her to get to dress up like a "princess" and walk down the isle with me.
Bennett - Ring Bearer
Bennett is my youngest nephew. Bennett has always looked up to me growing up and wants to do everything I do (racing, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling). We are both honored to have Bennett as our Ring Bearer on our special day.
