We are so excited for our worlds to collide! Allow us to welcome you into town with a big hug. This is an opportunity to say hello and meet other friends and family of ours before the wedding day. This venue is on Main Ave, within walking distance from anywhere downtown. If you are driving, street parking is free after 5 pm.
Guests will receive drink tickets, and food can be purchased at a variety of food trucks on site.
Wedding Day!
June 13, 2026
3:00 PM–12:00 AM
Chris Park Group Campground
900 Chris Park Road, Durango, CO, 81301
Attire: Forest Fancy. Imagine a cocktail party in the woods - we encourage creativity!
We have rented out the entirety of Chris Park Campground, located 30 minutes north of Durango. This venue has bathrooms, potable water, and plenty of parking, but is otherwise quite rustic. The event will be held entirely outside and under an open pavilion. Prepare for some uneven terrain, and pack a warm layer for when the sun sets.
Shuttles will be picking guests up from town at 2pm and will begin bringing guests home as they fill at 10pm, with the last shuttle at 12am. Please see the "Shuttles" tab for more information.
However, the party will continue after 12am! There is plenty of room for guests to camp, either in tents or RV's/campers. Please see the "Accommodation" tab for more details.
***We love your pups, but please do not bring them to Chris Park Campground on wedding day :) Kids are welcome!

If you have the time to stick around, we’d love to spend more time with you after the big day.
Come on back to the Campground for a leisurely morning/day - we’ll be firing up the grills around 11am with brunch available for those who want to spend the morning with us or fill their bellies before hitting the road.
There will be yard games, hammocks, and plenty of space to relax beneath the trees.
Sometime in the early afternoon, we’ll take to nearby Haviland Lake (less than 2 miles up the road by car and 1.5 miles by trail) where we can swim, paddleboard, or just dip our toes and chit chat.
Sometime in the early evening, we’ll head to Durango Hot Springs to finish off the weekend with a relaxing soak!
