Come camp with us!

We have the entire Chris Park Campground reserved from Thursday, June 11th to Monday, June 14th. Reservations have already been paid for, so all you need is camping gear. If you are arriving in or renting a vehicle that you can sleep in, there are plenty of spots for that as well.

**The night of the wedding there is the potential for noisy revelry late into the night. If you are a light sleeper, we recommend bringing a set of earplugs just in case. Alternatively, if you'd like to camp close but not at the venue itself, there are more secluded/personal campsites available by reservation up the road at Haviland Lake Campground.

Also, none of these campgrounds have showers. If you'd like to get a shower in, we suggest getting a day pass ($7.50) at Durango Recreation Center, taking a swim in the Animas River or Haviland Lake (with eco-friendly soap!) or reaching out to one of us to see if we can hook you up with a shower!

If you need to rent camping gear, please visit Back Country Experience to secure your gear from a local shop in Durango.

Please note, we kindly ask those that are camping Friday night to please take down your tent by the morning of the wedding on Saturday June 13th to keep the photos clear of tents :) We can set everything back up once night falls!

Additionally, there will be people on site setting up the venue on Thursday and Friday, as well as breaking everything down Monday morning, but don't let that stop you! We'd love to see you there or have your help if you feel so inclined!

Although we do not have a room block for this hotel/hostel, this is a lovely budget option for Durango, averaging at around $90/night. This hotel/hostel is a stone's throw from the Animas River Trail and is about a 20 minute walk from the historic downtown. The DuranGo shuttle service ($2/ride!) can also bring guests from this location to downtown.

If you choose to stay here, you can walk to the nearby EconoLodge at 2pm on the wedding day (Saturday 6/13) to catch the shuttle to Chris Park Campground.

This is our budget-friendly option, located 3 minutes from downtown by car, 5 minutes via public transportation, or a 15 minute walk.

There are 15 total rooms available: 2 king suites, 8 rooms with one king bed, and 5 rooms with two queen beds.

With the block code of "Priest/Platis," the prices are $160+tax for each king or two queen room per night, and $180+tax per two king suite per night

You may pay over the phone or when you check in, but please call to make your reservation. Reservations for this hotel must be made by June 1st, 2026.

This historic building is in the center of downtown, and operates a living museum of a Victorian-era Durango.

Single and double bed options are available, and guests can receive 10% off by using the code Priest/Platis. Usual rates for this hotel in June are about $250 per night.
