The wedding reception will begin at 4:30 p.m. on October 26th. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start to allow seating prior to the ceremony. The parking area is a quick 5 minute walk to the ceremony area under the large oak tree (signs will direct you to the area).

The Oaks at High Hill is located at 1800 Bruno Rd, Schulenburg TX, 78956. There will be signs indicating the area for parking and google maps is accurate for directions. Schulenburg is in between Houston and San Antonio, but is not easily accessible via Uber/Rideshare. However, it is easily accessed via car on I-10 with several lodging options in between. There is a shuttle available between the venue and the hotel for the day of the wedding.

GPS will bring you to the junction of Bruno Rd. and FM 2672. Make sure to take the right at Bruno Rd, then take the second left to the parking. The entrance off of FM 2672 is only for vendors and ends up at the back of the barn. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place under the 175 year-old oak tree. If weather is not "cooperative" we will have the ceremony and reception in the large white barn underneath some of the most beautiful chandeliers you have seen!

We want our guests to the wedding to be comfortable and enjoy themselves. Therefore, there will be no assigned seating. Please sit where you feel most comfortable :)

Yes, you can bring your kids to the wedding. Please ensure they are well-behaved as there won't be any kid-specific activities or entertainment provided. There is, however, TONS of space for them to play and we will have lawn games available for the reception.

Texas weather can be unpredictable. However, in October, the weather it typically mild to warm, with averages ranging from the 60s°F to the 80s°F. The weather is typically pleasant, with lower humidity compared to the summer months, and occasional rainfall is possible. Don't worry, if there's rain in the forecast, we have a BEAUTIFUL barn to have the ceremony and reception.
