Airport: Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR)
Train Station: Santa Maria Novella Station
Florence is the closest large city to Borgo Corsignano. The venue is ~1.5 hours from Florence. We will arrange transportation for those who provide us with flight/train information by April 1st, 2024.
Flying into Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) could be a cheaper option than flying into Firenze. The train system in Italy is great and there are many Alta Velocità (AV) trains.
AV trains leave from FCO (airport in Rome) twice per day, at 11:08 am. and 3:08 pm. They do stop along the way in Rome, but you don’t need to change trains. This trip takes 2 hours and 24 minutes, and ticket prices range from $28-34. Please visit this site to learn more.
Flying into Milan Malpensa Airport (MPA) is another potentially cheaper option than flying into Firenze. You can get from the Malpensa Airport to Milano Centrale in the city center via the regional Malpensa Express. It takes about 50 minutes and runs twice an hour throughout most of the day.
Once at Milano Centrale station, you can take one of the high-speed Alta Velocità (AV) trains to Firenze Santa Maria Novella in about 1 hour and 40 minutes. On this route, you can make the whole trip from the Milan airport to Florence in less than three hours. Tickets for the whole trip cost $44-67.
