Prepare to be blown away as you are flashed up 520 feet (159 m) to the Space Needle's observation deck, where extraordinary 360-degree views of the Emerald City await you. Then, back on ground level, explore the magical world of Dale Chihuly at the impressive glasshouse and garden.
After choosing your launch time, you are ready to explore Seattle's skyline. Take in the stunning vistas from the modern glass elevators. Once atop the observation deck, soak up this spectacular city from your bird's-eye vantage point. Learn all about the Needle's past from the interactive SkyPad, and then travel—virtually—to the city's top sights using the 520 Teleporter.
When you are ready to come back down, make your way to the whimsical Chihuly Garden and Glass. Step into a wonderful world of color, design, and glass created by Northwest artist, Dale Chihuly. Explore the original exhibition, consisting of 8 galleries, 3 drawing walls, a glasshouse, garden, and theater.
Chihuly's signature design—the exploding ball of glass tentacles—is on display here. You also have the opportunity to see the design process, as there are several walls with sketches of what will eventually become reality.
Literally a Troll under a bridge. One of my favorite fun places to show visitors. Explore Fremont while you're visiting the Troll. There are tons of great restaurants, Fremont Brewing Company, and Theo's chocolate factory!
The Mariners will be in town from July 2-9! Check out one of the most beautiful ball parks in the country. Sunday's are usually day games so you get to bask in the sunshine with a cold beer and hot dog - can't get much better than that!
The iconic Pike Place Market is a must for anyone visiting Seattle. Sample fresh seafood and other wonderful gifts from local vendors. There are tons of neat breweries and restaurants in the area to explore.
For the wine enthusiast, checking out the wineries in Woodinville is a must! There are too many to count, but some of our favorites are Novelty Hill/Januik, Chateau St. Michelle, and Columbia Crest. There is the Red Hook Brewery and Woodinville Whiskey for other pallets.
This is an easy hike (4 miles round trip) with great views over rattlesnake lake. We both love to explore the many hiking trails Washington has to offer.
From Seattle, drive east on I-90 to exit 32 for 436th Avenue SE. Turn right onto 436th Avenue SE, also signed as Cedar Falls Road SE. Proceed about four miles down the road to the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot on the right.
