One could argue that “Timing”; timing is the most important component in developing any relationship! To the lucky few whose paths crossed at the perfect moment and it just clicked, Congratulations! No barriers or circumstances, it plays out just like it does in the movies! More often than not, there is a different human experience where timing hits at an inopportune moment or certain circumstances prevent us from being able to commit fully mentally or emotionally. Life will throw twisted challenges your way but if you’ve remained patient and communicative, there will be a window of time to navigate anything to find the ultimate thing you’ve been waiting for, Love.

There are many ways to meet people in the 21st Century; the more modern approach in Dating Apps, the age-old classic Mutual Friend (frankly a dying medium), or even the lesser-explored Mail-Order Services on the interweb; there’s no shortage of ways to find Love. Bryan and Holly took to the popular dating app Bumble and “Swiped Right” on mutually attractive pictures and corny notations about “…drinking wine and watching “This Is US” together!“

The connection was exciting! The connection was real in a space where there were honestly a lot of fake connections to sort through.

Bryan and Holly were lucky enough to spend the better part of the 2018 summer getting to know each other but of course, the timing... it just wasn't right for them to take things to the next level.

Let’s fast forward to reconnecting in 2020, as there was hope on both ends that things could be different this time. They always had that chemistry so maybe this is the moment it finally works out! As Bryan waited in the parking lot of Primanti's for their "Second First Date", a text message offering Bryan a job in Dallas came through and it looked as though the star-crossed lovers were heading for another round of disappointment.

The two remained patient and continued pursuing a “friendship” (that frankly didn't feel like much of a friendship) throughout the late summer and winter months, before Bryan moved to the Big D, in April 2021.

Heartbroken and wishing things could be different, they both chose to cope in different ways; Holly a trip to visit a friend and go fishing and Bryan leaned into his work trip to start his new life! Funny thing about timing though, as easy as it is to miss, sometimes it is hurled right in your direction, as a clear “SIGN”, so big and bright that you can’t ignore it!

Bryan landed in Atlanta.

Holly, heading home to Pittsburgh, had a layover in Atlanta.

Five minutes apart, the Lovebirds ran into each other one gate between.

A move to Dallas and time apart wasn't enough and once we realized this was too obvious to fight anymore, Holly moved to Dallas and the future truly began. We haven't looked back since and cannot wait to share our love with Friends and Family on our special day!
