Our Wedding

Karl and Holly met in January 2018. They met on OK Cupid, a relic dating app, and were actually each other's first dates in many decades. After a year of falling in love but realizing that they were not ready for a more serious relationship, they parted ways. But they never were far from each other's minds and hearts, and they ultimately reconnected in August 2019 and have been #teamKarlandHolly ever since. Karl and Holly are grateful for finding each other and true love at this time in their lives. We are so glad that you can join us as we celebrate life, love and family at our wedding.

Port Chester and New Rochelle are in Westchester County, NY which is about 30 miles north of New York City. If you are coming from out of town and looking for more activities for the weekend, here are some ideas: US Open Tennis Tournament is being held in Queens at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center from August 18-September 7, 2025 - about an hour from Rye. Rye Playland Amusement Park - there are games and rides or you can take a stroll along the boardwalk with beautiful views of the Long Island Sound. You can also sit on the beach at Oakland Beach in Rye (there are fees for parking and beach entrance). New York Botanical Gardens or the Bronx Zoo are both about 45 minutes away from Rye. Enjoy walking through the sculpture gardens at Pepsi headquarters in Purchase, NY (drive up to the gate and the guard will direct you on where to park for the walking trails) For those who want a little more activity, try Boundless Adventures in Purchase. Make reservations before you go, online at boundlessadventures.net Shopping and coffee in Rye are great too, check out downtown Rye, Purchase Street. Grab a scoop at Longford’s Ice Cream or a delicious coffee/matcha latte at Sunshine Coffee Roasters on Purdy Street If you are craving a step back in time, visit Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown or Kykuit, the Rockefeller Estate or Phillipsburg Manor both in Sleepy Hollow (again, please check online before going to plan your visit) If you prefer to stay closer to the hotel, (for those in New Rochelle), you can visit Glen Island Park in New Rochelle.
