Port Chester and New Rochelle are in Westchester County, NY which is about 30 miles north of New York City. If you are coming from out of town and looking for more activities for the weekend, here are some ideas:

US Open Tennis Tournament is being held in Queens at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center from August 18-September 7, 2025 - about an hour from Rye.

Rye Playland Amusement Park - there are games and rides or you can take a stroll along the boardwalk with beautiful views of the Long Island Sound. You can also sit on the beach at Oakland Beach in Rye (there are fees for parking and beach entrance).

New York Botanical Gardens or the Bronx Zoo are both about 45 minutes away from Rye.

Enjoy walking through the sculpture gardens at Pepsi headquarters in Purchase, NY (drive up to the gate and the guard will direct you on where to park for the walking trails)

Shopping and coffee in Rye are great too, check out downtown Rye, Purchase Street. Grab a scoop at Longford’s Ice Cream or a delicious coffee/matcha latte at Sunshine Coffee Roasters on Purdy Street

If you are craving a step back in time, visit Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown or Kykuit, the Rockefeller Estate or Phillipsburg Manor both in Sleepy Hollow (again, please check online before going to plan your visit)
