What date should I RSVP by?
February 22nd
What is the dress code?
The dress code is beach formal. And by that we mean: any regular formal attire you would feel comfortable wearing to the beach - suits, dresses, jumpsuits, etc. The ceremony and reception will both be indoors.
What is the weather typically like in NC during March?
The temperature in Atlantic Beach will probably range between 65-45 degrees in March. Rain is always a possibility, as well, but we are crossing our fingers for a sunny day!
Will there be parking at the venue?
Yes! Dunes Club has an extensive parking lot and you should have no trouble parking your car there.
Will there be a shuttle?
Yes, there will be a shuttle going between Alice Hotel, the wedding party bungalows, and Dunes Club before and after the ceremony.
Please see the schedule tab for specific shuttle times.
Is the reception indoors or outdoors?
The reception is indoors, inside the dining room of the actual club. However, there is a deck that wraps around the club if you'd like to step outside and, weather permitting, there will be lawn games such as corn hole and bocce in the back lawn. There is also beach access at the Dunes Club that is open to our guests should you decide to take a break from the festivities and walk on the beach.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Anyone with a plus one will be indicated on their invitation. Space in the Dunes Club is limited and we only have seats for the number of guests we've invited.
Are children invited?
Yes! Our wedding will be very kid-friendly, so children and babies are welcome. Please be sure to select a food option for them when you RSVP if they will want a plate. They are welcome to pick any option they'd like, but please note we will also have a "kids meal" option for our pickier eaters that consists of buttered noodles and chicken fingers.
What kind of food will be served at the reception?
We will have light hors d'oeuvres being passed around during cocktail hour prior to our seated dinner. The seated dinner options will include: chicken, fish, vegetarian, and kids options.
If you have any allergies or specific dietary restrictions (such as gluten or dairy intolerance), you will have a chance to note that when you RSVP.
Will there be an open bar?
The bar will be open for beer, wine, and our two signature cocktails (that will include either whiskey/bourbon or gin). If you would like to order something else, all other drink options will be available to purchase with cash at the bar.
Where should we bring/send your wedding gift?
You celebrating with us is gift enough, but should you choose to purchase something off of our registry, you can send it to the following address: 112 Brandywine Blvd, Morehead City, NC 28557. A card box will also be available at our reception.
Are we allowed to take photos during the wedding?
Please refrain from taking photos during our ceremony - we are working with some wonderful photographers to capture this moment for us. However, you are free to take photos and videos during the reception!
