Our dress code is beach formal. Please note that while we're hosting at a beach resort, all events will take place at the venue facilities, not directly on the beach.
In order to have the bridal party stand out, please avoid wearing tan suits or light pink/orange dresses. Thank you in advance!
For Women:
- Tea-length, maxi, or knee-length dresses in lightweight fabrics (chiffon, linen, cotton blends)
- Elegant sundresses or formal jumpsuits
- Pastel florals or bright tropical hues are perfect
- Wedges, dressy sandals, or flats (avoid stilettos if you plan to go for a walk on the beach)
- Consider a dressy shawl or light wrap for evening ocean breezes
For Men:
- Summer suits or dress pants with button-down shirts
- Linen or lightweight cotton suits in lighter colors (light blue, green, gray, or other pastel colors are good options)
- Ties are optional, but add a polished touch!
- Dress shoes or loafers (leather or suede boat shoes work well)
- Consider rolling up sleeves for a more relaxed look
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do: Choose breathable fabrics that can handle heat and humidity
- Do: Bring sunglasses and consider sun protection
- Don't: Wear casual beach attire like swimwear, shorts, or flip-flops
- Don't: Choose fabrics that show sweat
- Don't: Overdress with heavy formal wear like tuxedos or ball gowns
