The Cedar Creek Grist Mill is a historical, water-powered, grain-grinding mill. Volunteers provide demonstrations and bags of fresh-milled flour and cornmeal to guests. The Grist Mill hosts many free special events during the year — such as the popular cider press — and they all include some good eats! Take a look at our special event list.

The Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens is a restoration project to honor the work of famed lilac developer Hulda Klager. It contains an 1800s house and surrounding buildings and Gardens. It is a National Historic Site. In 2023 the museum/barn opened with many new exhibits.

Horseshoe Lake Park is the largest developed city park in Woodland. Facilities include a covered picnic areas, gazebo, covered "clogger's" pad, open lawn space for field games, playgrounds, parking facilities, restrooms and is the home to the Rolling Freedom Skate Park. Hoffmann Memorial Plaza is adjacent to the park.
Horseshoe Lake is a "no wake" lake and is open for swimming (no lifeguard on duty), fishing, canoeing, and kayaking.
