We owe a lot to our friends Sean and Kyla because without them we most likely would not have met. The Navy played a big role as well because without the navy neither of us would have lived in VA.

Katelyn moved into the apartment a couple floors above Sean and Kyla, and of course Katelyn's loving personality led her to bake cookies for her neighbors. So, with cookies in her hand ready to go she knocked on Sean and Kyla's door. Which was the start of their friendship. A few months later Seans birthday rolled around and he invited Howard and Katelyn and a few other friends but that is how Howard and Katelyn met.

We started talking and before we knew it the night was over. Talking to each other was simple, for both of us. We got along right away. We wouldn’t have to wait long for the next hangout. We went out for Saint Patrick’s Day and stayed out all night long. It was at the end of this night that we shared our first kiss. From here we became nearly inseparable. If we weren’t together, we wanted to be. We grew closer and closer. In July we made our relationship official.

We were hanging out and going on dates and still could not get enough of each other. We spent many nights staying up until the AM hours talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company all because we just didn’t want the night to end. As a side effect we both suffered many tired days.

Since becoming a couple we have been on many adventures together and we have many more to go.

We have been across the United States together from a trip to the Californian coast to several trips to Charleston. In between we have been to Asheville, the Shenandoah mountains, the outer banks, and to Orlando.
