Our Wedding

We owe a lot to our friends Sean and Kyla because without them we most likely would not have met. The Navy played a big role as well because without the navy neither of us would have lived in VA. Katelyn moved into the apartment a couple floors above Sean and Kyla, and of course Katelyn's loving personality led her to bake cookies for her neighbors. So, with cookies in her hand ready to go she knocked on Sean and Kyla's door. Which was the start of their friendship. A few months later Seans birthday rolled around and he invited Howard and Katelyn and a few other friends but that is how Howard and Katelyn met.&nbsp;

We started talking and before we knew it the night was over. Talking to each other was simple, for both of us. We got along right away. We wouldn’t have to wait long for the next hangout. We went out for Saint Patrick’s Day and stayed out all night long. It was at the end of this night that we shared our first kiss. From here we became nearly inseparable. If we weren’t together, we wanted to be. We grew closer and closer. In July we made our relationship official. We were hanging out and going on dates and still could not get enough of each other. We spent many nights staying up until the AM hours talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company all because we just didn’t want the night to end. As a side effect we both suffered many tired days.&nbsp;

Since becoming a couple we have been on many adventures together and we have many more to go. We have been across the United States together from a trip to the Californian coast to several trips to Charleston. In between we have been to Asheville, the Shenandoah mountains, the outer banks, and to Orlando.&nbsp;

Ally and Katie have been friends now for 5 years. Their friendship blossomed after many young and wild nights together out at a bar, local parties, or a lazy day. Their friendship has stood the test of time and distance, which makes them believe this is a lifetime bond. It's one of those friendships that's more like sisterhood.

Dylan and Howard met when they were stationed together in Virginia in 2019. Throughout the years they found many similarities. Dylan and Howard are always willing to help each other, with no judgment. Through the years the friendship has grown and grown. Dylan has become one of Howards most dependable friends.

Kyla and Katie met during the holiday season of 2022. Katie brought Christmas cookies to her new neighbors and a few hours later Kyla showed up with hot cocoa and a smile. She's one of the sweetest people on the planet and someone you can always count on. Kyla and her husband Sean welcomed me into their lives with open arms and I wouldn't be at this milestone in my life without them.

Sean first graced Howard's life in Goose Creek, SC in 2018. The friendship immediately started. Throughout the years Howard and Sean have grown through fun times out on the town to being each other's saving grace. The friendship Howard and Sean have will last a lifetime. The measure of true friendship isn't how good the fun times are but holding each other accountable when times get hard, even when it is tough. Howard and Sean have always fought for and with each other to guide themselves in the right direction.

One evening, Ellie invited Howard and Katie over for a football game at her and her husband, Dylan's house. After a warming up period Ellie and Katie started to open up and become great friends. The more they hang out the more similarities they find in each other. They both realize true friends are hard to find, thus feel very fortunate to have each other to lean on.

Dylan and Howard met in the barracks in South Carolina. At first Howard didn't really take to Dylan for the sole reason of Howard no longer having his own room. It only took a few days though for the two of the to start getting to know each other and actually becoming great friends. Since that time their friendship has definitely had ups and downs, but through everything has prevailed. They have been friends for nearly 7 years. Friendships like Howard and Dylan should be cherished and valued.
