Emily - Maid of Honor
We met in medical school and became roommates second year. We were always planning game nights, movie nights or the annual Blue Scrub Bar Crawl and was that duo that was *almost* always together—even confused as a couple on occasion. I even convinced her to get matching tattoos. She was the balance I needed, while I’d make a mess of the kitchen, she was always there to help clean up. I can’t wait to live out our cul de sac life once I convince her to move close enough.
Lexie - Bridesmaid
Despite going to the same medical school, we did not hit it off until starting residency in Colorado (what are the odds we ended up at the same program). She quickly became my partner in crime, to the dismay of our coworkers. This past summer we adopted puppies from the same litter, now between puppy play dates and work we are inseparabe. She would drop anything for me, literally… even if that means showing up at 10 pm with stitches to try to fix my bleeding gums.
Kristen - Bridesmaid
We met during my first year of college during sorority recruitment. She later became my Biggie and one of my biggest supporters. We were always ready for eachother’s shenanigans whether it was sporting events, weekend trips or helping her survive statistics. From the bars at Miami to the bachelorette she’s always making sure we leave with our debit cards and have Benadryl. Even now being so far apart I know I could rely on her for nearly anything.
Mallory - Bridesmaid
Our friendship started in middle school and has continued to evolve through stages of life. We were the “ unrelated sisters” and the Wilsons were my second family. We have countless memories being goofy in the back yard, playing travel volleyball, or hours trying to beat Super Mario on the Wii. Even with years and distance during college and med school, I know we can always pick up where we left off when I’m back in town.
Zac - Best Man
My brother, my best friend. If you know us, you know our story. If you don’t, you should stick around long enough to learn about it. Zac brings the party with him wherever he goes and it’s been that way his whole life! He is the energy and life of the party. He is the best guy I know other than my grandpa Dave, and I am blessed to have him as my brother. If you find yourself looking for him at any point, just look for the huge red afro and you should see him in no time at all!
Stephen - Groomsman
Stephen has been around the longest out of all the groomsmen aside from my brother. We became friends in the fourth grade and have been blazing a trail ever since. From getting my grandpa’s car stuck in the snow, Steeler’s games with my broken foot in middle school (with crutches and all!), to yuengling all nighters in college and reminiscing on our infamous ding dong ditching story. There are truly too many memories to share, but you may catch a story or two of Guy and Stevie boy if you see us talking in the late night hours after a few brews and some swigs of Jamo.
Grant - Groomsman
Grant was always around growing up; at wrestling practices to running routes as the wide receiver on the football team in the fall. Next thing you know, Zac and Grant are best buds and I’m seeing him all the time, at home, school, sporting events, you name it! It didn’t take long for me to consider him my friend too, hard to avoid when you see him so often… but seriously have you met him? The dude is incredible!
Michael - Groomsman
Like Grant, Michael and I went to high school together but he was a few grades behind me. We also met through Zac, but it wasn’t until years later in college that Mike was back from his time in the Army and we really started hanging out. After many years and memories, he finally stopped thinking I was intimidating and I’m grateful to have him next to me on such a big day!
Steven - Officiant
You may be noticing a theme… but I also met Steven (aka Peanutbutter) through Zac. Pretty immediately after meeting we solidified his nickname. After misreading a cookie dough label I quickly learned that his peanut allergy was very, very real. Thankfully we made it to the hospital in record time and without any hiccups. I even made it into work on time that night despite the side quest. It was such a hectic, profound memory that lead to our close friendship and brotherhood; and now it’s a memory we look back on and laugh as we explain how this all started.
Conner - Groomsmen
Conner was the latest piece added to the puzzle! He's been my Colorado homie since we moved out there and I actually met him through work! We have managed to accomplish plenty of crazy hikes and golf on some of the coolest courses around while keeping our cool and enjoying that Rocky Mountain High!
