Hunter and Heaven met for the first time in Kansas, on Thursday January 14th 2021. Heaven was working at her brother-in-law's restaurant, where Hunter ordered food. It was undeniable that they both piqued each other's interest. Though it wasn't until the following Monday that they exchanged contact information, when Hunter came back to see if he'd be lucky enough to run into Heaven again. Heaven was working and so elated that the handsome man had made an appearance again. She was even more ecstatic when he asked her on a date, though she obviously had to play it cool. They started spending time together regularly after going on a few dinner dates.

Fast forward 4 months later to May 17th 2021. Hunter took Heaven on a date where he made his move and asked her to be his girlfriend. They dated for 6 months and then Hunter was deployed in November. Both of them concerned about long distance, but neither of them willing to lose each other over it. Another 6 months goes by and Hunter returns in time for their 1 year anniversary.

They moved into a house together and stayed there for 7 months before moving across the country to Hunter's home state in December of 2022. In North Carolina they lived in a camper for close to 4 months. That was until they bought a house together in April. Come May they spend their 2 year anniversary in their new home. They spend a lot of their free time over the next year doing many updates and renovations to make their house feel like home. Along the way they make many good friends and their house becomes a great place to host loved ones.

For their 3 year anniversary, Heaven and Hunter go mining for Emeralds. These are Heavens favorite stone and just so happen to be the stone of their anniversary month. Hunter plans from there that he will use an emerald as her wedding ring stone. He knew that's what she would have wanted and he was right. He searches for somewhere to custom make her a ring with the emerald they mined together. With each inquiry, he decided that he wanted to find her a bigger stone than the one they had. He worked with a jeweler and made a custom ring using one of their precut stones. He plans to use their mined emeralds for jewelry in the future.

After Months of planning, Their 4 Year anniversary rolls around. Hunter takes Heaven on a full planned day of excursions. He had her nails done a few days prior and the morning of he has her get ready for a day out. She knows some details of the day such as the plan for a fancy breakfast place and a walk in a botanical garden. They start their date at Famous Toastery, having delicious food and mimosa flights. After they have their fill, they head over to the gardens to walk and chat. Shortly after they arrive they make their way to the pergola garden. Hunter has a photographer hiding out and it's there that he asks Heaven for her hand in marriage. She said yes and now they're engaged to be married! They continue their tour of the gardens with the photographer, taking many engagement photos. To finish off their day out, Hunter takes Heaven out for dinner and drinks to Celebrate the start of the rest of their lives!

Over the course of their relationship, both Hunter and Heaven have been there for each-other. Through the good times such as promotions, big purchases, moving together and daily life activities. They have also been there for the hard times, such as losses in the family, sick pets, stolen properties and deployments. With each thing they face, they know they don't face it alone, but together under god.

As they continue to write their story, they are making plans for the big upcoming event in their lives. The Wedding!
