Jayne and Ike are the quintessential modern love story, proving that sometimes, love is just a swipe away. They "met" by swiping right on Hinge, and Jayne broke the ice with a cheerful "Happy Friday :)" message. The rest, as they say, is history. After a week of lively banter on the app, Ike mustered up the courage to ask Jayne out to a Blazer game. With basketball being Jayne's favorite sport, she was instantly game.

On November 2nd, 2019, Jayne and Ike met in person for the first time at Spirit of 77, a Blazers-inspired sports bar. Ike’s sense of style, inviting smile, and kind eyes made an immediate impression on Jayne. He greeted her with an exuberant "hello!" and a big hug, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. After some drinks—where they simultaneously toasted with a cheerful "salud"—they headed to the game. They bonded over their shared enthusiasm for the Blazers, joking around like old friends and cheering with every basket. Not wanting the night to end, they ventured to Rontoms, one of Jayne's favorite bars, for more laughter and banter. Ike, ever the gentleman, made sure Jayne got home safely, cementing their connection.
