General Information

When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly request that you RSVP on this website no later than June 1st, 2025.

Do I have to RSVP? Can't I just text or call you if I'm going to be there (or not)?

Yes, please RSVP by June 1st, 2025. To RSVP, please click on the "RSVP" link on this website. If you are having issues with RSVPing online, please email us at worththewedding@gmail.com.

What do I do if something changes and I can/cannot attend after RSVPing?

We know that sometimes things come up! If you need to reach us, please feel free to email worththewedding@gmail.com as soon as possible.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire - garden florals are encouraged! For the ladies, break out those dresses or jumpsuits. For the gents, we suggest suits or blazers and pants. For shoes, please note that you will be walking on grass, concrete, and gravel. A few friendly reminders: We kindly request that you do not wear white to avoid confusing the groom! Additionally, we request that you refrain from wearing shorts, tank tops, tennis shoes, and flip-flops—though feel free to bring a pair of dancing shoes!

Can I bring a plus-one?

We wish we could invite everyone’s plus-one, but due to space limitations, we’re unable to accommodate a plus-one for everyone. If you’re able to bring a guest, we’ve noted their name or “plus-one” on your RSVP profile. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Are kids invited to attend?

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to attend our big day!

What will the weather be like?

It will be very warm. The average temperature in Aurora, Oregon in August is 83 degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Celsius). The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be both indoors and outdoors. We recommend checking the weather before packing and dressing for the day.

Jayne - are you changing your last name?

Yes I am!

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Yes! Please use #worththewedding when posting anything on social media so we can see it later!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Yes, we do! Check out the "Registry" section of the wedding website.

I still have questions! Who should I contact?

If you have additional questions, please email worththewedding@gmail.com.

Accommodations & Transportation

Where should I stay?

Please see the "Lodging & Transportation" section of the website for more information on hotel room blocks. There are rooms reserved for you to book at a special rate.

Where should I park?

There's plenty of free parking on site!

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding venue?

While we aren't able to provide transportation to and from the venue, we want everyone to get home safely! The venue is in Oregon wine country, so if you plan on enjoying a few drinks, we highly recommend pre-scheduling an Uber, Lyft, or taxi for the end of the night. Your safety is important to us, and we appreciate your understanding!

Ceremony

When should I arrive at the venue?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We recommend you arrive by 3: 45 PM to find a seat.

What happens if I arrive at the wedding venue and the ceremony has already started?

If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, we kindly ask that you wait at the event center until the ceremony concludes. You'll be able to join us for the celebration right after!

Can I take pictures and post photos of your wedding on social media?

This is a special moment for us, and we want you to be present with us in that moment. For this reason, we kindly ask that all electronic devices be turned off for the ceremony. We'll be sure to send you a link to the photo gallery and wedding video to enjoy once available. However, we would absolutely love if you took photos of all of us having fun at the reception. The more the merrier!

Reception

When will we have dinner?

Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 pm with light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. The Italian food buffet-style dinner will begin at 6:00 pm.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

If you or someone in your group has specific concerns or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP. Additionally, please don't hesitate to email us at worththewedding@gmail.com and we will confer with our caterer.

Will alcohol be served?

Yes! We will have an open bar serving beer and wine.

Will there be non-alcoholic refreshment options?

Absolutely! We will have plenty of non-alcoholic options to choose from. We will even offer non-alcoholic sparking cider for the toasts!

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Absolutely! Please email worththewedding@gmail.com with specific questions or requests.

Will there be dancing?

Duh! Have you even met Jayne? ;)
