Our Wedding

A mutual friend suggested that Imani and Hurdylyn should meet. That same friend worked behind the scenes to make sure both were interested before making the connection. Hurdylyn was given Imani’s phone number and decided to call her during his lunch break. What’s funny is that they both had an exit strategy in mind for that simple lunch call, shaped by past dating disappointments. Instead, there was an instant spark, and they have been inseparable since that first hello.Their first date took place on June 7, 2024. They enjoyed the conversation so much that, without realizing it, an hour had passed before they even ordered food. In the days and months that followed, they shared their worlds with one another and showed acts of dedicated kindness during times of need, strengthening the roots of their foundation. Their relationship continued to grow with loyalty and patience as they learned from one another. Devotion flowed naturally, as they made time for each other in their everyday lives. On April 7, 2025 in a small cafe, Hurdylyn asked Imani the question of sharing a life together. She said yes. The wait was worth it—they found each other.
