Ours is a classic love story. Not your typical high-school sweethearts "meet-cute" - but a budding romance that blossomed into a once in a lifetime love.

Pedro and I first met when we were still just young kids in high school. It began with stolen glances across hallways, eyes meeting but never speaking. A spark mutually felt - but I thought nothing of it. I was too young to be looking for love, but somehow, love found me.

Pedro will tell you he noticed me way before I noticed him, and knew instantly that we were soulmates, our fates forever intertwined. So of course, he made the first move and introduced himself - and it was like a piece that had been missing from me was finally found.

We spent countless nights staying up late talking nonstop, conversation flowed like water. Connecting was so easy, like breathing. After a few weeks we had our first date - at the fair - the night was straight out of "the Notebook". In a frenzy of fair games, rides and junk food - finally we ended the night at the top of the ferris wheel. Conversation stopped. Time stopped. Our eyes locked and we had our first kiss.

Just a peck - we were both just nervous kids.

It's been 6 years since that magical first kiss. And I've been happy ever since.
