Q + A

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Please RSVP by December 31st, so we can have an accurate headcount. You can RSVP right here on our website!

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in a timely manner and cannot accept late RSVP's due to this. We hope you understand!

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invite for your +1! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love all the little ones, only children ages 5 years or older are welcome to attend. Please be mindful of them during the Church ceremony! During reception, we will provide coloring pages and goodie bags for the kids to play with. We want them to have a good time too!

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to Florida, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny. During the day, the weather in Miami should be beautiful, averaging 75-80 degrees, but will get chilly at night. Please bring some warm layers for the evening, we don't want anyone freezing their but...well you get the point.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking at the Church, as well as the reception venue.

What should I wear?

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting semi-formal or formal attire. We have a page dedicated to this under “Dress Code”. There you will find guidelines for attire. Please no white or shades of white, cream, ivory, etc. And NO JEANS!

Whom should I call with questions?

Please call either of our lovely maids of honor with questions: Victoria 561-721-5606 Amy 561-389-5059

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both our wedding ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, so please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say our I do's. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us so please allow them to do their best work. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! With this is mind, please plan how you will get home from the venue safely.

What time should I arrive?

Ceremony at the Church will be starting promptly at 1:00 pm. We ask that all our guest plan to arrive by 12:45 to avoid any latecomers.

Will I have to pay for parking?

No, parking is available for free at the Church as well as the reception venue.

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

We have listed our hotel block on the "travel" page! Otherwise, we recommend looking into an Airbnb for multiple families to save money.

What time will the reception end?

Reception is set to end at 11:00 pm. As much as we would enjoy partying 'til morning, Pedro and I would love to spend the last hours of the night alone together as a married couple, for the very first time!

Is there a gifts registry?

Yes! You can find it under the "registry" page on this site.

Will last names be changing after the wedding?

Yes! I will officially be Iris Sahira Santos after the wedding.
