Our Wedding

Dearest Family and Friends, Our story began when I was 13, and Isaac a year older. We played football together, teammates on the same field, though at the time we were little more than passing acquaintances. Years slipped by and it wasn't until high school that our paths truly found one another again. At 16, I asked Isaac to walk me to my locker. That simple walk became the beginning of everything. Soon after, he invited me out for sushi for our very first date. That afternoon sparked a tradition we've kept alive ever since: countless sushi lunches and dinners, each one sweeter because we were together. Now, many years later, I am 23 and about to marry the boy I once only knew as a teammate. He has become my best friend, my partner, and the love of my life. We have arranged a preferred rate at Rodd Charlottetown for our wedding weekend, although space is limited. A few suites are held until December 31st; if a suite isn't available when you call, the hotel can place you on a wait list or book a standard room at the wedding rate (subject to availability). Friday: The Wedding Day

Our Ceremony will be held at the beautiful and historic <a href="https://www.stdunstanspei.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">St. Dunstan's Basilica</a> in Charlottetown. We will gather at 2PM to exchange our vows and begin our life together as husband and wife. Following the ceremony, we invite you to celebrate with us at the <a href="https://roddvacations.com/hotels/rodd-charlottetown/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Rodd Charlottetown</a> for dinner, dancing, and a joyful evening together. More details will be shared soon!

Prince Edward Island has been the backdrop of so many moments in our story, and we're excited to share a few of our favourite places with you.

Victoria Park Boardwalk

Victoria Park Boardwalk, our favourite spot for a leisurely stroll by the salty sea. The park is also a favourite for dog walkers, with wooded trails and a quiet pond that make it as lovely as the boardwalk itself.

Prince Edward Island Preserve Company

PEI Preserve Company is a cozy café by the river, perfect for a relaxed breakfast or light lunch. Their raspberry cream cheese pie is my favourite treat, and they also offer a lovely tea service. Just outside, the Gardens of Hope is filled with flowers and views that invite you to slow down.

Ta Ke Sushi

Ta-ke Sushi is our favourite date-night spot and, in our opinion, the best sushi on PEI. The rainbow roll is a must-try, the black dragon maki is unforgettable, and their nigiri is always fresh and beautifully done. We've shared many wonderful times here that it feels like part of our love story.
