You can get to North Devon via train - the nearest station is Barnstaple, accessible from the slowest train from Exeter imaginable! Sit back and enjoy the view.
There's a good bus service from the station but it will be useful to have a car to get around the area. Especially if you'd like to explore.
There is plenty of parking in West Down car park but if you don't have a car, please reach out to Harry and he will find a kind groomsman to give you a lift.
There will be parking at the bottom of the lane at Buttercombe on the left. There is quite a steep hill up to the house so if you have accessibility requirements please feel free to drive up to the house.
If you are staying on Bradwell Road or in Willingcott Valley, it will be possible to walk home from the reception via the Tarka Trail path.
Alternatively, if you're staying in neighbouring villages like Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Braunton, Croyde or Lee Bay please let us know if you need a taxi here and we will will gladly help you arrange transport back to your accommodation.
