Covington Kentucky offers many things to do! Distilleries, wineries, and putt putt galore! Then just a hop over the river to see Cincinnati with all of its offerings! Couple that with the years of exploring to find all of the local spots that Bella and Tucker Frequent.
We will provide some of our favorite spots here, but if you're looking for something specific to make your trip even more special, please feel free to reach out to Bella or Tucker!
What better way to spend an evening in Kentucky than at one of the local putt-putt facilities. Tucker and Bella have made Putt-Putt a competitive sport where the winner always receives a victory shirt.. You'll notice Bella doesn't have many putt-putt shirts.
A favorite on the list of dates from Tucker and Bella, there's just nothing like watching sea creatures move about an aquarium. Oh, and at the end, you MUST do the shark bridge.... If you dare
Enjoy a piece of Tucker and Bella's life together and enjoy the Bardzilla Challenge. 11 patties topped with all the fixings. If that's too much try their fried pickles and cheese curds in this little Latonia hole-in-the-wall!
The Cincinnati Zoo is worth all the hype! Every type of animal you can imagine, lovely walking, and nice indoor and outdoor habitats for even the hotter days. If Fiona the hippo isn't your thing, they also have a beautiful botanical garden.
Below are some of our favorite areas to go explore, have fun, and eat. We hope you have some fun too!
Downtown Covington- This is the area the wedding will take place. There are lots of good restaurants and smaller shops and drink spots/coffee shops. Check out Roebling Point Books and Coffee for a lovely view and a great intro to our little city. At the end of Downtown Covington is the famous Roebling Bridge, which if crossed (can cross via car or walking path) will spit you out in The Banks area of downtown Cincinnati!
Mt Auburn- one of the many gorgeous hill towns of Cincinnati, and a place we love going. There are nearby parks, museums, and lovely views. Our favorite speak-easy is located in Mt Auburn: The Blind Lemon.
Newport on the Levee- this is a waterfront outdoor/indoor walkable area. It is full of good restaurants, shops, and has tons of activities within a short distance from Covington.
Downtown Cincinnati- Fountain square is the heart of the city. This a good place to start in all downtown has to offer. On the weekends, there is usually an event going on in the square. Nearby areas for food/bars are 'The Banks,' and 'Over the Rhine.' During the day, both have a convenient strip of restaurants, great walking paths near the water, and laid-back drinks. At night, these will be the spots to start for a night on the town. If you head toward Vine Street, you'll find the art district and lots of good food. Take note to all the beautiful murals in this area!
Hyde Park- This is a bit north of Cincinnati. This is where you will find the 'boujee-er' things. This area of town would be great for a beautiful stroll down the main street. There are tons of beautiful shops and great food.
