On a chilly November day in 2019, Bella had just relocated to the northeast from Florida and was living in the dreaded Prince George's Plaza in the DMV. Meanwhile, Jared had just moved into his new apartment near Fort Meade, in a slightly less sketchy neighborhood. The stars aligned and […even though Jared had a pic of him holding a fish on his profile], we matched on Hinge! And the rest is history...

We bonded over the chaotic dating scene that was Washington, DC and how much the city differed from our smaller mountain and mid-west hometowns.

Through a combined love for traveling, trying new restaurants, and above all—a passion for dogs, we became each other's go-to person, navigating life hand in hand with two little black pups trailing behind. During a very unprecedented few years in the world: including COVID, January 6, and all the other shenanigans that come with life in DC - the one thing we were consistently sure about was each other.

From walks down the National Mall, to binge watching every season of Game of Thrones in our cozy apartment nestled in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, we feel so lucky that the backdrop of our history was in a city that contains so much of the same.

In our 4 years of dating, we've moved apartments 3 times, traveled to 15 US states, and made countless memories, many alongside our wonderful family and friends (that's you!).

Together, we've discovered that the best adventures are the ones we create with each other and we feel so grateful for our partnership. Join us in February of 2026 as we say "I do" and kick off the next phase of our life together in our new home state of Florida. We're SO excited to share this day with those who've been a part of our journey!
