We are excited to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. All welcome guests will be noted on your invitation.
Can I bring my child if they are not listed on the invitation?
Our wedding will be an adult-only celebration with the exception of the kiddos in the bridal party. If you are able - use this time as a mom & dad getaway!
Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free meal options?
Please reach out directly & note on your RSVP so we can accommodate for any dietary needs.
Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we are asking that all phones and cameras are put away and turned to silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a person's phone blocking the view. After the ceremony exit please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like and share them with us!
Is there parking/transportation?
Yes! Our venue has an attached parking lot with more than enough parking! We will also provide a trolley to and from the wedding for guests staying at the hotel! There will be an early and late shuttle for the way home (for folks with an early bedtime) ;)
Will there be alcohol?
Yes! We will have an open bar. Drinks are on us but the hangover is on you ;)
Will there be a dress code?
Yes! It is beach semi-formal, we would love to see our guests dress up with us!
What is Beach Semi-formal/Cocktail Attire?
Beach cocktail attire is synonymous with semi-formal beach wedding attire. Typically, men's ties are optional, but still welcome. If you're shopping for menswear, start with a classic long-sleeve button-down and dressy pants; then, add a colorful blazer or patterned sport coat for festivity (again optional though). Footwear can include nice loafers and on-theme boat shoes. Women are welcome to wear a semi-formal dress, like a maxi or midi, as well as a jumpsuit or dressy separates. A beach cocktail dress code often includes vibrant colors or bold prints. Low heel, wedge or dressy flats are great shoe choices. We will not have sand (it will be grass) so it should be easy-ish to walk!
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.
The bridal party will be wearing a terracotta color. Feel free to avoid it if you don't want to match with the bridal party :)
Is the wedding outside?
Weather permitting, we will have all of the festivities outdoors. February in Florida is typically lovely with temperatures in the mid to low 70s. However if rain is forecasted we will move indoors. No sand involved at the wedding! We will be at an estate with a grassy area so keep that in mind when choosing shoes! :)
