Izzy and Joel met back in the spring of 2022 at college in Wilmington, OH. Joel played baseball and Izzy played softball which made them quickly become friends and eventually more than that. They both left school for summer break. Izzy heading to Michigan and Joel being in Ohio. It was only a matter of a few weeks he took his first trip to Michigan to visit Izzy and meet her family. From then on they went the whole summer doing distance while driving back and fourth to see one another. They made their relationship official on June 19th, 2022 and haven’t left each others side since. 2 years later and Joel proposed to me on May 25th, 2024. It was the easiest YES.
