Silver Beach Park

This is one of the popular beaches in St.Joe. There are also beaches along the left and right side of this one that allows public access. Enjoy a beautiful Lake Michigan sunset or a relaxing day at the beach!

Wine Tasting/ Breweries

There are tons of wine tours around the area! Go off on a day and enjoy the beautiful wineries. Some even include transportation. There are also fun breweries around the area. Watermark brewing is a good time with outside seating and live music. Silver harbor brewing is a restaurant and brewery. Tons of great options and they also have outside seating and live music.

Must Try Restaruants

Lunch + Dinner spots
My all time favorite and a must in St.Joe is silver beach pizza. They have a huge menu with their speciality being their thin crust pizza. Sit back and relax in the dinning area or rooftop bar. You have to try their frozen schooners, and cocktails.

Tim’s too is a local restaurant that is inspired by create your own hibachi bowl. Fun fact I worked there throughout high school. Huge variety of options to place in your bowl with a fun experience.

Clementines is a restaurant right along the river. They serve a large amount of seafood but also have a big variety of sandwiches, burgers, pasta, etc. Clementines is also located right next door to Tavern on the river which is a local dive bar that has affordable drinks and live music.

221 main is a relaxed and classy restaurant that provides a rooftop for your experience. Great food choices such as steaks, chicken, pastas, and seafood.

Brick house is downtown Benton harbor that has the best smash burgers and sandwiches. It’s a fun atmosphere with live music.

Best breakfast spots
Joes cafe is a 10 minute drive from downtown and provides an authentic and cheap breakfast experience. They have the best scrambles and waffles. It’s a huge menu with tons of options! It tends to be super busy but shouldn’t be more than a 10-15 minute wait when busier days.

Mason Jar cafe is a short drive over the bridge in downtown Benton Harbor. It provides a healthy organic breakfast produced by tons so local farms. There is a wide variety and they have some of the best iced coffee. It’s a cute spot where they also sell local vendors art/jewelry and food.

The Copper Pot is located right under 221 main. It’s a new spot in town and they have a big variety but are known for there different types of eggs Benedict. With fun variety of foods it’s delicious and quick spot for a sit down breakfast.

Broad street cafe is a small bagel shop in the downtown area. It’s cheap, and some of the best bags, sandwiches I’ve ever had.

Boat/Kayak Rentals

Take a day out on the lake or river and rent a boat or kayak. There are boats you can take out yourselves but there is a tiki bar boat that will drive you around while providing a fun time. You can also rent paddle boards!
